Days 19 & 20
We said goodbye to Montana and hello to Idaho. Our lodging for the night was Sun Creek Point RV Park in Caldwell, Idaho. Caldwell is essentially a suburb of Boise.
The next day we got an early start with a destination of Winnemucca, Nevada as our day's destination.
Upon arrival, we watched the 49ers third game of the season vs. the Arizona Cardinals. It was a nail-biter (again) but they eeked-out a narrow victory at (literally) the last second with a 16-15 win. Our boys are now 3-0 for the season!
After the game, and as we headed out for dinner, we noticed the spectacular Nevada sunset .
Allan had done some research and learned there was a Basque Restaurant in Winnemucca. That sounded like an excellent idea! It was located inside the Martin Hotel.
You can see there was plenty of good food to eat and drink!
Basque restaurants are known for serving their meals "family style" which includes sitting at long tables that include other diners. Sitting at our table were Bob, Clay and Al. We learned they were sheep ranchers and had just delivered sheep to market.
We further learned that, not only were they Sheep Ranchers, but also Vineyard owners. The guy in the middle (excluding me) is Clay Shannon, owner of Shannon Winery in Lakeport, Calif.
We had a very enjoyable conversation over dinner with these guys, learning about the Sheep business as well as the Winery business. They were also interested in hearing about our RV travels.
As they finished up with their meal, they graciously purchased two "Pecan Punch" drinks for Susan and Patricia.

We plan to visit the Clear Lake area sometime and stop by their tasting room. Above is a link to their web site.
Our trip has almost come to an end! Tomorrow we drive to Verdi, which sits right on the California/Nevada border.
