Day Nine

The road from Torrey to Kodachrome Basin State Park was single-lane backroads. We encountered some steep grades as we headed from one mesa to the next.

The views continued to be spectacular.

We stayed at a nice campground inside the park. They made it clear that cancellation refunds would be difficult to obtain.

Tomorrow we head further west to the town of Kanab, Utah.

We had zero cell phone coverage in the park, and since we couldn't catch up with local TV, I proposed that we have a movie night with our TV mounted on the outside of our trailer. We store about 40 DVDs in our trailer, and after reviewing the options, we decided on watching The Blue Brothers. What a great movie!
