Prelude

Planning for this medium-sized trip

If you followed my previous blog (John & Susan's Epic RV Trip) you'd know that we've retired and are eager to travel using our 2020 Lance model 2375 Travel Trailer. This year's trip won't be as all-encompasing as last year's - it will be for three weeks and we'll travel just over 3000 miles. A couple of other things that are different are that this time we're taking our dog with us, and we're traveling with another couple that have their own trailer. They are Allan & Patricia, and they also have a Lance Trailer - a 2012 Model 2285. We have known them for years and have camped with them on many occasions, so we're really excited to share this adventure with them.

The route we decided upon is shown on the map, above. The green circles are the overnight stops we are making, usually at some kind of campground. The red circles are waypoints that I have dropped along the way so that we drive on one road vs. another. We've visited Canada before, but never with this much freedom to see the sights, and never in an RV. So, we're all looking forward to a very memorable trip!

We still have the same 2012 F150 truck. It now has 139,444 miles on it. Will it make it? Stay tuned!!
